Carpet Cleaning: When’s The Best Time?

neighborhoodccs

While salespeople will always tell you, “the best time is now,” we aren’t salespeople - we’re your friendly Woodbridge Neighborhood Carpet Cleaners. We care about our clients and keeping them properly informed, which is exactly why we published this article (and the others every week). Nonetheless, let’s get right into things! To answer your question, when is the best time to have your carpet cleaned?

First and most obviously, if you have a major accident or spill on your carpet, definitely get it cleaned. Spills of simple liquids (even large quantities of water) cause mold and mildew buildup. Aside from potential respiratory issues, mold buildup is generally unpleasant and doesn’t smell good. Additionally, if your pet decides to have an accident, this should be urgent. The last thing you want is bacteria sitting in your carpets, especially if you have pets and children that are on the ground.

As a general best practice and rule of thumb, we also highly recommend keeping your carpets clean yearly. A great way to stay on top of this is by joining our unofficial Keep It Clean (KIC) program. Our KIC program will send you a friendly reminder via email every year and even allows you to receive 15% off, simply for joining an unofficial email list! The best part? You can unsubscribe at any time and the unofficial “program” is free to join.

If you’re in the Woodbridge area and simply need help identifying whether it’s time to get your carpet cleaned, we’re more than glad to help! Contact us today at +1 (703) 349-4791 or head to www.ncc-va.com for easy online booking (link and booking options on home page).
