Spring Activities in Prince William County

Spring is here in Prince William County, and you know what that means! Residents in Haymarket, Woodbridge, Dumfries, and everywhere in between will be spending a lot of time outside. Activity No. 1: Lake Ridge Park

Lake Ridge Park (quite obviously located in Lake Ridge, VA) is a fantastic spot for a plethora of outdoor activities. Not only does this park have three boat landings with direct access to water, but it has miles of hiking and running trails with beautiful waterfront views.

We highly recommend making a stop at this 74-acre Prince William County gem!

Activity No. 2: Manassas National Battlefield Park

Given that we’re a Marine Corps Veteran-Owned business, it should come as no surprise that we recommend this one! This park is a great opportunity to learn more about the history of our country and the Civil War.

Not to mention, it’s a beautiful battlefield and located right in Manassas, which makes it a close drive from our regular service areas of Woodbridge, Haymarket, Dumfries, Burke, and even Manassas itself!

Activity No. 3: Gravelly Point

While this activity is north of the Prince William County area, it’s still close and a very cool experience! We thought it’d be an interesting curveball to throw in—and a great way to promote expanding your horizon.

Gravelly Point is located in Arlington, VA, right next to Ronald Reagan Airport (DCA). The highlight of this experience is being able to see the planes fly directly over you before landing. We highly recommend bringing a blanket and setting up a picnic in this gorgeous spot!
